Violent video games have become too commonplace

I get worried with the degree of violence that today’s children are exposed to, particularly from video games. As graphics get more and more realistic, it becomes hard to tell what is real and what isn’t, and the images onscreen become gorier every day. As children adopt technology into their lives earlier and earlier, the risk for them to be exposed to this kind of violence grows. I think we are allowing our society to become desensitized to violence, which can’t be a good thing. TV isn’t helping with shows like “Game of Thrones” seeming to celebrate excessive violence.
